Mission Update
The Journey has several members who are actively engaged in some sort of mission work around the world. This page helps you keep up with them, communicate with them, and even support them financially. Click on the Donate button next to any of our missionaries to directly support them through The Journey. Each donate button corresponds to a specific missionary. If you need to support them with cash or check, you can leave it in the offering box on any Sunday at The Journey. Simply make the check out to The Journey, and attach a note with their name on it. If you choose to give cash please put it in an envelop with the name of the missionary you'd like to support. (Include your own name on the envelop to receive tax credit at the end of the year.) Any gift you give is to these missionaries through The Journey is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please direct any general questions to us at info@explorethejourney.org.

Stephen Shelt - Uganda
CLICK HERE to send an email to Stephen
Stephen Shelt spent 10 weeks in Uganda in 2008 and fell in
love. A Jackson native and Belhaven graduate, he was challenged,
stretched and blessed by his experience, and felt God's call to return.
Beginning in July 2010, he is following that call to pursue discipleship
with farmers studying sustainable agriculture for two years in Mbarara, Uganda
with Africa Inland Mission. Please pray for sustained courage, holiness,
and obedience as he seeks to bring glory to God.
